With outcome goals, they do nothing to provide direction along the way. Process goals are about what is actually done to help reach outcome goals. Always keep in mind that it is the process that ultimately leads to the product. Dedication, commitment, attention to detail, and long term focus to training are also major
determinants of performance. If you expect to run consistent you certainly need to be consistent in your preparation, both mentally and physically.
